HIGHWAY COMMISSION ADVISORY BOARD
CHARLES DUCHESNE BLANEY (Progressive Republican) was born in Chicago. Attended 
Princeton University, then in business in Chicago until 1882, when he came to 
California. Invested in California real estate. Retired from active business in 
1901. Appointed member of California Highway Commission in 1911. Never held 
office before. Resides near Saratoga, Santa Clara County, California.
