Evergreen Cemetery, Boonville BOONVILLE CITIZEN GOES TO FINAL REWARD – BOONVILLE, Feb.18. – After a lingering illness, Elbert Marshall Duff passed away at the family home Boonville, Cal., on Feb. 13th. Deceased was a native of Washington county, Va., in which state he was married to Delia Caldwell. For the past thirty-five years he has been a resident of Mendocino county and has always been active in all questions pertaining to the good of the community. He was alos an active member of the Christian Church. He was aged 74 years, 2 months and 20 days. He leaves to mourn his death, his widow, three sons, John Homer of Boonville, Peter Franklin of Taft, and Sydney Elbert of San Francisco; four daughters, Mrs. W. J. Slattery of Lake county, Mrs. Neil Simpson of San Francisco, Mrs. Addie McGimsey of Boonville and Mrs. A. C. Hogan of Albion; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret V. Miller, of Washington county, Va.; and Mrs. T. J. Vestal of Boonville. The interment was at the Green Mound cemetery, Boonville, on Saturday, February 15th, where a host of friends gathered to extend to the family their heartfelt sympathies pay their last respects to the departed one.
