California Genealogy and History Archives were started on June 28, 2004 by Kathy Sedler as a means to store free databases for you - the researcher. With the help of volunteers, we have transcribed many records, and will continue to do so. These files are for free access - and will remain that way - for individuals wishing to research their ancestors. We need your help to grow in this cooperative project, and welcome other volunteers to join with us in adding data. We encourage you to share whatever you feel is appropriate - something you have already transcribed, or to help with any current projects. Your help is an integral part in assisting this site to grow. All materials submitted must be records in the public domain, or research you have compiled on your own. This site maintained and
