Patrick O'Neill to Mrs. Lorenco Huntington, at 8 o'clock on Saturday morning, Oct. 1st, 1870. Mr. O'Neill is one of our best and most respected citizens, and we most heartily wish to him and to his wife all manner of good fortune through life. Mr. O'Neill came to California April 1849, and proceeded by way of Stockton to the diggings at Wood's Creek, Tuolumne County. He has traveled all over the State of California; Oregon and Washington Territory, Sonora, New Mexico and Arizona, but he says he prefers the county of San Diego to any other part of the world in which to settle down and live the balance of his days.
