Mrs. Celestial Lorene Akers passed away July 19, 1996 in Bakersfield 
California at the age of 82 years after an illness. Mrs. Akers was born 
March 23, 1914 in Gilliam, Arkansas.
	
She is survived by her sister LaVerne Platt of Mountain Home, Arkansas 
her daughter Sue Sackman of Boron, California, granddaughters Cynthia 
Roell of Lancaster, California and Sheryl Green of Boron, California and 
their spouses, and great-grandchildren, Michael, Shena, Jessica and Felicia.

Viewing for Mrs. Akers was Sunday, July 21, 1996 at the Stickel Mortuary in Mojave.	
Graveside service was held Monday, July 22, 1996 at the Mojave Cemetery.         
She will be missed for her incredible smile, and loving ways.
