She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 10, 1927. Lois was a member of California State Toastmistress', YM/WCA, East Kern Historical Museum Society, and was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America.' As housewife to two United States Air Force military members, she was a domestic goddess, taking care of her first husband, Milton Charles Cox before his death, and her second husband of 37-years, Melvin Baker, who survives her; and raising six children, daughter Patricia Reva Chezek of Simi Valley, CA; son Roy William Cox of Westmoreland, TN; daughter Diane Shawn Brockman of Lancaster, CA; son Kelly Adair Baker of Grand Junction, CO; son Marc Elmer Baker of Seneca Falls, NY; daughter Kari Ellen Renauldo of California City, CA; sister Jean Carolyn Greenough of Woodland, CA; 18 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services are pending.
