Edith Marie Bench of California City, California, passed away on February 20, 
2003 from complications of pneumonia and heart failure.

She was born on August 6, 1953 in Glendale, California to Frank J. and Alice 
M. Hunter. Edith was a housewife and was a 1971 graduate of Mojave High School.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank J. Hunter in 1981 and Alice M. Hunter 
in 1986. 

She is survived by her loving husband Richard Bench of California City, 
daughters Hope Bench and Carrie Bench, and sons John Bench and Aaron Bench, 
all of California City; grandchildren, Chelsea, Kayla, Britany, Christopher, 
John III, William, Alecia, Anthony, Kyle, Andrew, Austin and Monique, brother 
Joe F. Hunter of Mojave, aunt and uncle Peg and Larry Wright of Fremont Valley, 
California, and uncles Laurence and Joe Lamoureux of Cantil, California.
 
Services were held on February 25, 2003 at Our Lady of Lourdes. Arrangements by 
Stickel Mortuary-Mojave.

Friend of many, loved by all who surrounded her. She will be remembered for 
her bright smile and contagious laugh, but never forgotten.
