Source Unknown; Date Unknown Former Boron resident, Jerri Jo Stacy Bishop, age 41, passed away in San Bernardino on February4, 1998 Jerri was born March 14, 1956 in Sidney, Nebraska to Paul and Lucille Stacy who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents and many aunts and uncles. Jerri and her family moved to Boron in August 1969. She graduated from Boron High School in 1974. After graduation Jerri went to work for civil service at the 750th Radar Station, now the Boron Federal Prison Camp. She later transferred to March Air Force Base and then to Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino where she worked until her retirement in 1986. During her work at the 750th, she met and married Barry Bishop who was in the Air Force at the time. They were married May 31, 1975 in Las Vegas. In 1982 Jerri gave birth to her only child, Stacy Ann Bishop, 15. Stacy and Barry continue to reside at the family home in San Bernardino. Jerri is also survived by brothers, Gerald Schulz of Cheyenne, WY and Judd Stacy of Bakersfield; sisters, Linda Holloway of Minden, Nebraska, and Judy Rowley of Boron. Jerri will also be missed by her many nephews and nieces who loved their "Aunt Jo" very much. They are Todd and Scott Holloway, Marc and Stephen Rowley and Brylyn and Ethan Stacy and all who knew her. She has gone to a better place where she will be able to "Bless Your Heart" again. No public services are planned at this time. The family requests in lieu of flowers and cards that do nations be made to the Arthritis: Foundation in Jerri's name for Lu pus research.
