Ruby L. Blocher of  California City, CA, passed away on May 15, 2002 from 
age-related causes. 
Mrss. Blocher came to the Antelope Valley from Missouri in March 1935. She was 
married to Jess Blocher for 63 years. They resided in California City for 17 
years and were members of The Rock Club and Kern County Historical Society. 
Mrs. Blocher enjoyed visiting with family and friends and making quilts.
She is survived by her loving family; son, Willard Blocher of California City; 
daughter, Maxine Organ of Oregon, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. 
Memorial services were held on Saturday, May 18, 2002 at Stickel Mortuary in 
Mojave, CA. No graveside services were held.
