Source Unknown; 6 Aug 1942 LOS ANGELES BOY MEETS DEATH While at play at play at the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Callaway, at the Holly Cleanser Mine near Saltdale, Richard. Callaway, 15, fell into a bin of powdered silica and was smothered to death before help could reach him on Monday of this week. The Mojave ambulance, Cecil Tucker driving, answered the call and brought the body into the morgue after an exammation conducted by N. C. Houze, county Coroner. . The body wIll taken back to Los Angeles for burial by the boy's parents.
