Mary Carder, 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2000. Mary, wife of Owen L. 
Carder Sr., was a Mojave resident for 56 years. Mary and Owen owned successful 
businesses in Mojave since 1944 and the third generation of Carders, their 
grandson Owen L. Carder III, now runs Carder Truck Repair. Mary is survived by 
her son Owen Jr. (Beetle), daughter Sharon, grandsons Owen III and Robert, 
granddaughter Tina, great-grandchildren Michael, Melissa, Matthew and Shirley.
No memorial services are planned. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to 
the Mojave Youth Football League c/o Carder Truck Repair, P.O. Box 181, Mojave, 
CA 93502.
