In memory of Gwen Christofferson
I, at Desert Jade, lost a dear friend on Nov. 30, 2000.
Her son, daughter-in-law, sister and brother-in-law were here and we had a 
memorial for her on Dec. 5, 2000. She is missed by all and I have only been 
here a little over a year and we had become dear friends. It happened so sudden, 
she just went to sleep on her couch. She was a very good person, always had a 
smile for everyone. She never complained about how she felt. She would always 
say I am OK. I miss her so bad because neither of us slept well at night and we 
would go back and forth to each other's apartment and sometimes stay up to 1 a.m. 
Everyone else would be sleeping and I think we were the only two that stayed up 
late.
She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten by any of us here. She did a lot 
here with crafts and for the Association, such as helping with dinners and 
cleaning up afterwards. I guess none of us knew how sick she really was. I think 
she left a spot in every one's heart.
