Source Unknown; Date Unknown Feb. 18, 1936 – Aug. 2, 2004 A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Marjorie Jo Clonts, 68, who passed away on Aug. 2 in Murrieta. Marjorie was born on Feb. 18, 1936, in Pampa, Texas to Lemial and Dorothy Morrow. At a young age, she moved with her family to San Diego. In August of 1954, Marjorie married Shelby Frank Clonts in Arlington. They moved to Tehachapi 12 years ago where she was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was president of the Relief Society of the Tehachapi Ward. Marjorie's life revolved around her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was being able to love and care for her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, particularly for her family. At the time of her death, Marjorie was in the process of moving to Murrieta to be + near her family. Marjorie is survived by sons, Michael Clonts and wife Debbie of Cottonwood, Ariz.. and Sam Clonts and wife Cheryl of Temecula; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Sarah, Sheila, Nathan, Paul, and Adam; and great-grandson, Darius. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Clonts, in 2003. Interment will follow at Tehachapi Public Cemetery, Eastside. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
