Mojave Desert News; 17 Feb 1949

Baby Diana Clough, age two weeks, loving daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and 
Jessie Clough, formerly of Mojave died suddenly at her home near Grapevine Canyon.
Born January 31, 1949, at Bakersfield, passed away February 13, 1949 at 6:25 a.m. 
Awakening at 4:00 a.m. Mr. Clough found the baby appeared to have suffocated. He 
rushed her to the NOTS Fire Station where she was rendered first aid and 
resusitation, but to no avail. Funeral Services at the O'Donnel Funeral Home, 
Mojave, pending results of Coroner's Autopsy and Laboratory Examinations. Burial 
will be the Mojave Cemetery.
