Joseph G. "Joe" Coakley, age 65, of California City, passed away on February 11, 
1999 in Lancaster.         
Joe was a retired engine mechanic with General Electric and a U.S. Army veteran.	
Survivors include his wife Georgia, of California City; daughter Sherry Smith of 
Lancaster, CA; sons, Curtis of Palmdale, CA, Brian of Bishop, CA; brother, Robert 
of Kentucky; and grandchildren, Tiffany, Danielle and Sammi Jo Smith, Tori, Tawni,
Nathan and Brianna Coakley.	\
Memorial services were held on February 16, 1999, at Halley-Olsen-l Chapel, 
Lancaster. Arrangements by Halley-Olsen   Funeral   ChapeL, Lancaster, CA.
Joe touched the hearts of all who' knew him and will be greatly missed. by all. 
The family requests that contributions be made in Joe's memory to the American 
Cancer-Society, 1043 W. Ave M-4, Suite B, Palmdale, CA.
