Long-time California City, California resident, Sarah Virginia Cobble, 
passed away on August 29, 2004. She was born on May 20, 1932 in Sterling, 
Virginia to Franklin and Zollie (Reeves) Osborne. 
Sarah worked in retail sales for over 15 years. She enjoyed reading, taking 
walks, and caring for her animals and was an avid Jet Hawks fan. She was 
devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
She was predeceased by her husband, James Cobble on November 23, 1994.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Vickie Cobble and Rhonda Cobble 
both of Bakersfield, California, Debbie (Lance) Grina and Rae (Armando) 
Peru all of California City, Barbara Navarro of St. George, Utah, Sandra 
Coury of Ridgecrest, California; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 
siblings, James Osborne, Jesse Osborne, Muriel Durst, Betty Trammel, Gladys 
Nice and Faye McClaughry, all of Virginia.
