Condra passed away at his residence 1202 A Knox Road NOTS, China Lake, Calif., at 2 a.m. on June 25 1949, after suffering from a heart attack. A former long time resident of Cincinnatti, 0hio, born on March 21, 1913 at Port Lavaca, Texas. A veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S Coast Guard on the U. S LST 78~ he leaves to mourn besides his wife, Charles J. Condra, father, of Cincinnati, 0., sisters Mary Wallace of Tokyo, Japan, and Nora of Kansas City, Mo. Funeral services under the direction of the O'Donnell Funeral Home, officiated by Chaplain O. B. Salyer USN, were held at the NOTS Chapel, China Lake, Calif., 4:30 p.m. on June 28 with Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers of fellow members of the Lloyd Frost Ship, of the V. F. W. Remains were shipped to the Bonhan Bros., Mortuary, San Diego, Calif. for military interrment in the U S. National Cemetery, Point Loma, Calif.
