All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. Source Unknown; Date Unknown April 13, 1925 – Feb. 7, 2005 Ray was a true Californian, born and raised in East Los Angeles. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he started his career in the entertainment business by moving to Mt. Shasta in Northern California and becoming a disc jockey at the radio station there. He worked for many years as a cameraman at NBC, Channel 4 and as a technical director at KTLA, Channel 5 and other studios around Hollywood. His last television show he worked on before retiring to Bear Valley Springs in 1989, was "Growing Pains" at Warner Bros. Ray loved riding his bicycle and playing golf with his good friend, Ben Rude, and now they have passed away within three weeks of each other. Ray is survived by his wife of 36 years, Adele; his three sons, Patrick and Linda Conners, Danny and Robin Conners and their sons Sean and Scott, and David and Angela Conners and their children Liam and Maya.
