MOJAVE — Graveside services were held Wednesday morning for Martha Lucille 
Conover, 88, of Mojave, who passed away November 2 in Lancaster.
Mrs. Conover was born April 3, 1912, in Dayton, Ohio. She was a homemaker who 
loved music and playing the piano, and lived in the Antelope Valley for over 40 
years.
Mrs. Conover is survived by four daughters, Carol Jean Reardon, of Valencia; 
Karen Ann Lamarsh and Mary Lou Freer, of Mojave, Shirley Rae of Barstow, and many 
grandchildren.
She is also survived by three sisters, Dorothy Woodyard, Betty Wardlaw, and Marie 
Strack, all of Ohio.
Interment was in the Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Palmdale and arrangements were 
handled by the Chapel of the Valley in Palmdale.
