Source Unknown; Date Unknown April 24, 1917 - February 25, 2003 Robert Francis Conway was born in Livingston, Montana on April 24, 1917. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Hugh Conway, Bertha Gertrude Seitz Conway, brothers James and Thomas and his sister Vera. Bob is survived by his wife of 15 years, Dee Conway; daughters Roberta Burke and Dicey Lou Hewitson, sisters, Margaret Garland, Rita Gleason and Sister Margaret Mary who is a nun as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Robert served his beloved country honorably in the United States Army during World War II. He attained the rank of technical sergeant. Bob was a retired aerospace worker from Garret. He started a second career with U.S. Borax and retired from there as well. After his second retirement he moved to this ranch on Castle Butte Road. He loved cars, airplanes and mechanical things. Bob was a very kind, loving and considerate gentleman. He developed wonderful friendships because of his helpfulness and generosity to those in desperate need of help. Robert was a heart and soul devoted Catholic. His devotion to God was very inspirational to those around him. The joy and love that he brought to his family and friends will be greatly missed and he will be in our hearts forever. He was my grandpa. The greatest man I've ever known. The family would like to thank Fr. John Gracey for taking the time to visit and anoint Robert while he was in the hospital and for paying a surprise visit to anoint him and bless the house where he lived. We would also like to thank the Knights of Columbus who kindly gave him a ride to his doctors appointments. Earnest Bingham, Leonard Bucheger and Chester Woodyard.
