Laura M. Davis, 37, died March 14, 2001 at Mt. Diablo Medical Center in Concord, Calif, 
following a long illness.
Mrs. Davis was born and raised in Apple Valley before moving to Visalia for 
seven years, and finally settling in Vallejo. She was a sales associate for JC Penney 
for five years, and she was also a Christian attending Evangelist Temple Christian 
Fellowship in Vallejo.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin; daughter, Desi and sons, Marvin II and David 
all of Vallejo; parents, David and Sharon Leal of California City, sisters, Louisa 
Huggins of Hesperia; Lana Allen of Vallejo; and Lisa Stanley of Indiana; and her 
grandfather, Eugene Fraser of Apple Valley.
Visitation was held Friday, March 17 at Sky view Funeral Chapel, Vallejo. Funeral was 
held at 1 p.m. at Skyview Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Frederick J. Stewart of Evangelist 
Temple Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial was at Skyview Memorial Lawn, Vallejo.
