She was born on August 29, 1921 in Wagner, Oklahoma. Lucille was a loving wife and mother best known for her beautiful smile. Her loving husband of 35-years, James F. Day, predeceased her in 1984. She is survived by her son, Jesse F. Day of Loomis, CA; daughter, Flynnda L. Day of Boron, CA; sister, Pauline Cook of Chester, CA; mother-in-law, Lou Ann Obergfell of Tehachapi, CA; granddaughters, Sandy Irvin of Anaheim, CA, Shane Rolfson of Weldon, CA and Amy Rose of California City, CA; grandsons, Adam Rose of Phoenix, AZ, Eric Rose of Las Vegas, NV and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be held by Paul McWilliams, M. DIV., at Stickel Chapel, Mojave, CA. on February 11, 1999 at 11 a.m.. Internment will follow at East Kern Memorial Park in Mojave, CA.
