Source Unknown; Date Unknown Lloyd De Graffenreid, 72, of Boron, passed away on January 19, 1996 after suffering heart failure at Lancaster Community Hospital. A 40 year resident of Boron, Lloyd was born in Hockerville, Oklahoma on July 22, 1923, to Jackson and Maude De Graffenreid. Lloyd served in the U. S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. He worked at U. S. Borax for 35 years until his retirement in 1985. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Thelma "Jody" De Graffenreid and his brother, Willard Sexton; his three children and their spouses, Patricia and Everett Webb, Virginia and Steve Haugland and William Miller also his "adopted" son Todd Pollock. Lloyd is also survived by his eight grandsons and their wives, Everett and Karen, Darrin and Maureen,, Eric and Jamie Webb; Scott, Ken Craig and Anna Haugland; Sam and Cindy, Jim and Kerry Miller, as well as his seven great grandchildren, Cameron, Janna and Andrea Webb; Samantha, Corey and Bradley Miller and James Lee Miller.
