He was born on April 20, 1917, in Kiowa, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Mae; his daughter, Marilyn Valenzuela and her husband, Michael of Boron; four grandchildren, Richard Owens and his fiancee Rhonda Hernandez; Thomas Owens and his wife, Shona; Michelle Valenzuela, all of Boron; and Stacey Clements and her husband Bob, of Ft. Collins, Colorado; five great grandchildren, Chad, Ciara and Chase Clements of Ft. Collins; Shawn Thomas, Tyler James, and Vincent and Taylor Hernandez, all of Boron; one brother, Paul Dodderer and wife Mary of Garland, Texas; four sisters, Pearl Axton of Wright City, Oklahoma; Faye Carey of Firebaugh, California; Connie Halkum and husband Julius of Firebaugh; Opal Fennell and .husband J.C. of Boron; and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Nora Dodderer, a son Willie Edward Dodderer and two brothers, Harmon and Norman Dodderer and three sisters, Willie Mae, Jessie and Betty. Jimmie was of the Assembly of God faith. He was retired from U.S. Borax and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
