Source Unknown; 02 Oct 1941 Fatally Injured In Auto Accident Folks of Mojave were startled on Thursday evening last to hear the roar of the siren and the Mojave ambulance as it tore out the Bishop highway in answer to a call for help in removing victims of one of the most horrible auto accidents which has occurred in this vicinity for same time. On their way to Los Angeles, a car driven by Raymond Doran telescoped on the rear end of a truck with a terrific crash, instantly killing Frank Doran, his brother, and inflicting injuries on himself which caused nurses of long standing at the local hospital to turn sick at the sight of his bruised body. First aid was given Mr. Doran here and next day he was taken by Mr. Tucker in the Mojave Ambulance to the White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles. At this time it is not known whether he has survived the accident or not. Officer C. A, Scott of the California Highway Patrol investigated the accident
