LAST RITES FOR JAMES ALVIN DUNN
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday of this week at the Mojave Funeral 
Chapel for James Alvin Dunn of Muroc who died early last Thursday morning at 
his ranch 30 miles east of Mojave. Mr. Dunn who was 60 years of age was a 
native of Iowa and had lived in the desert area where he was employed by Pacific 
Coast Borax Company for 11 years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna M. 
Dunn.
Mr. Dunn had left the ranch house to go to the corral when he collapsed of what 
is believed to have been a stroke. Deputy Sheriff Don Brink and Deputy Coroner 
L E Groomes investigated. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery.
