Vera A. Edwards, 84, a resident of California City for many years, died in Olympia, 
Washington June 6, 2001.
She was born February 15, 1917 to Sam and Agnes Haigh in Liverpool, England. She 
loved to sew and garden and enjoyed her janitorial work.
Vera is survived by her daughter, Jean Gardner, of Olympia, seven grandchildren, 10 great-
grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norm, her son Leonard, her brother, Eriiie 
and granddaughter, Linda.
Graveside services were held Monday, June 11, 2001 in California City.
