All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. Source Unknown; 27 Oct 1955 Mrs. Vera Egan Passes Away Mrs. Vera Lee Egan passed away in Mojave Hospital October 25, 1955. She and John, her husband, had made their home here since 1945 and resided at 124 "K" Street. Mr. Egan is a cashier at the S. P. depot in Mojave and has been employed by the company since 1927. Mrs. Egan was born June 27, 1894 in Arkansaw (sic), and they had been residents of California since 1925, coming to Mojave from Bakersfield. Survivors besides her husband, John, are: one brother, James Bates of Base Lake, Calif.; three sisters, Frankie Tucker and Lois Lincoln of Bakersfield, and Hazel McCoy of Wasco. Rev. Ralph Coe of the Assembly of God Church in Mojave will officiate over the services which will be held. Thursday, October. 27 in the O'Donnell Funeral Home Chapel in Mojave. Committal services will be held at 3:00 at the Union Cemetery in Bakersfield.
