Ted Estrella Sr. passed away on November 9, 2003 at home in California City, 
California. He was a resident of California City for 33 years. Ted was born in 
Honolulu, Hawaii on April 1, 1918. He retired from Pearl Harbor Shipyard and had 
worked in the Muroc School District at Edwards Air Force Base. He was a member 
of the Army Reserves and Knights of Columbus. 
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anna, son Ted (Cynthia) Estrella Jr. of 
Mililani Town, Hawaii; daughter Yolanda (Dean) Covert of California City; 
sisters Maria Hao and Cora Pagdilao both of Hawaii, Beatrice Sharp of South 
Carolina; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 
Rosary will be held on November 21, 2003 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes. with 
Mass on November 22, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes. Services will be 
conducted by Father John Gracy. Internment will be in Hawaii.
