Joseph T. Farkas of Boron, passed away July 29, 1998 in Lancaster just 15 days after the 
death of his daughter Kathleen Hyden. He was a yard master for So. Pacific Railroad for 31 
years.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn, daughter Karen Carlton, sons, Gary, Joey, 
David and Jon, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 4, 1998 at East Kern Cemetery, Mojave.
