Christopher James Harrington of Boron passed from this earthly life on August 4, 2000, in Barstow 
Community Hospital.
Chris was born on May 22, 1968 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and grew up in Boron.
Chris had said at one time, not knowing he was going to live a short life, that he had fulfilled his 
lifelong dream by racing speedway. He also loved to ride motorcycles and bikes.
Chris was a loving husband, father and son. He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Harrington, 
daughter Brandy Winters of Boron; father and mother, Larry and Jeanne Harrington of Hesperia, CA; 
brother Mark Harrington of Valencia, CA; and grandfather H. E. Harrington of Redland, CA.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2000 at 
the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Boron.
