A family Memorial Service was held in the home of 
Monique Lantz in Tehachapi for Simon Henri Haubruge, 70, who 
passed away in a Las Vegas hospital on Jamiary 8, 1998.
Mr. Haubruge was born December 25,1927 in Namur, Belgium. He 
came to the U.S. in 1951 Since 1969 he had been a 
resident of California City. Before coming to California City, he lived 
in West Covina where he was a real estate broker and tax 
consultant.
Mr. Haubruge is survived by his sons: Yves Haubruge of Ontario, 
Reynaldo Haubruge of Mojave, Achille Haubruge of Apple 
Valley; daughters: Michelle Deweirdt of Phillipeville, 
Belgium, Monique Lantz of Tehachapi; brothers: Andre 
Haubruge of Flawinne, Belgium, Marcel Haubruge of 
Namur, Belgium, sisters: Paulette Haubruge-Lorand of 
Flawinne, Belgium, Adelle Romain of Namur, Belgium; numerous 
grandchildren, both in the United States and Belgium.
Interment followed the Memorial Service at the Tehachapi 
Public Cemetery Eastside. 
Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
