STREAMLINER Arthur Howard Hawkins, 53, b born in Cascade, Mich., died of e a heart attack aboard S. P. train No. 52 enroute from Bakersfield to Mojave. He was pronounced dead by Dr. Allen Shepherd of Tehachapi Valley Hospital when the train reached that place. Mr. Hawkins was on his way to visit in Randsburg where he was well known. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Bakersfield on Thursday, June 3, at 10 a. m. and will a be followed by interrment in .Greenlawn cemetery at Bakersfield. Surviving him are a brother, Lawrence F. Hawkins and a nephew, Thomas W. Hawkins of Bakersfield. The nephew was his companion on the fatal trip.
