Source Unknown; Date Unknown Aug. 28, 1954 – March 27, 2005 A memorial service was held Saturday, April 2 at the Bear Valley Springs Community Church for Allan Paul Jackson Jr., 50, who passed away peacefully on Easter Resurrection Sunday at his home in Tehachapi, surrounded by family. Allan was born on Aug. 28, 1954 in California to Allan and Marilyn Jackson. After traveling to Washington State, he fell in love with the area and moved there. He dedicated his life to Christ and married the love of his life, Diane, in Marysville, Wash., in 1982. They moved to Tehachapi in 1992. Allan was employed for nine years at the Lancaster prison as a wastewater/water plant supervisor. He loved the ocean, sailing, beach combing and hiking with his family, especially sharing quiet moments and being together. There was a glow about Allan, his willingness to give or go and even stay, desiring to honor Christ in all that he did. Allan is survived by his wife, Diane M. Jackson; sons, Jonathan and Thomas Jackson; daughter, Loretta Jackson; parents, Allan and Marilyn Jackson; and brothers, Craig Jackson and wife Ellen, and Sean Jackson and wife Lisa. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the cremation arrangements.
