Robert Jones of Wasco, Texas, died at Mojave hospital Friday afternoon as the result 
of injuries sustained when he was struck by the locomotive of a Santa Fe passenger 
train near Amargo earlier in the day. With two companions Jones, 24 is said to have 
been sleeping near the tracks. He was brought to Mojave hospital on the train and died 
several hours later.
