ALICE KARR TAKEN BY DEATH The many friends of Mrs. Alice Karr were saddened at her passing on December 31, 1949. Death was due to a stroke. She is mourned by the following sons and daughters; Mrs. Lucille Belvill, Compton, Calif., Mrs. Mae Pruitt, Folsom, N. M., Mrs. MyrtIe Baker, Pueb1o, Colo., Mrs. G. McGraw, Pueblo, Colo., John Karr, Mojave, Byrnel Karr, Boron, Clifford Karr, Vallejo, Frank Karr, Stinnet, Texas. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren Mrs. Karr was born January 22, 1875 at Howard, Kansas. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. January 3 at the O'Donnell Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Horton of Boron, officiating. Music and songs were rendered by Mrs. Dorothy' Wellman, close friend of the deceased, Mrs. Lucille Glinz, Ray Pettit and Mrs. Frances Schrum. Interrment followed in the Mojave Cemetery.
