Source Unknown; Date Unknown Oct. 14, 1918 – Feb. 1, 2005 A graveside funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 4 at the Tehachapi Public Cemetery, Eastside, for Glen Killingsworth, 86, who passed away Feb. 1 in Eufaula, Okla. Glen was born Oct. 14, 1918, in Pierce, Okla. to Owen and Lilly Killingsworth. He moved to Arvin in 1940 and then to Tehachapi in 1946 after marrying Mildred Pitman in Hot Springs, Ark. Glen worked as a miller at Monolith Cement Company, retiring after 34 years of service. He moved to Checotah, Okla., in 1994, while still maintaining his home in Tehachapi. Glen will best be remembered for his love of raising his own cattle, rabbits and chickens, and working in his garden. He also enjoyed playing dominos and 31, and his very own gentle practical jokes on others. Glen is survived by his daughter, Glenda Ursua and husband Larry of Tehachapi; sons, Douglas Killingsworth and wife Monica of Saginaw, Texas, Ron Killingsworth and wife Pat of Powderly, Texas and Anthony Killingsworth and wife Peggy of Mesquite, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruby Loperena of San Jose. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, in 1989. Reverend Jerry McCullah officiated at the service. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
