He passed away June 28, 1995 in California City, CA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. He graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School, Los Angeles in 194S. he attended courses in mathematics and computers at El Camino College, Torrance, CA. Jack married Florence Jean Carter on September 1, 1951 in Los Angeles. They were married for 43 years. He worked as an engineer in hospitals, as an electrician and was pan owner/operator of a silver mine. Jack's career in hospitals began at California Hospital in 1943. He was chief engineer at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Pacifica Community Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Woodland Hills, He was also a journeyman electrician with the IBEW Local No. 11 in Los Angeles. Jack continued the quest to learn throughout life. His eclectic interests included reading, chess, chemistry, woodworking, camping, hiking, mining, music and computers. He is survived by his wife, Florence Jean Kleinpeter of California City; daughters, Roberta J. Ryhal of Riverside and Linda A. Kleinpeter-Pinkston of Denver, CO; grandson, Daniel L. Kleinpeter of Denver, Co; mother and father-in-law of Winchester, CA; and several cousins in Los Angeles, San Bemardino and San Diego Counties. Services are pending.
