Dorothy Amelia Knapp, age 77, passed /ay at her home in California City 
on May 29, 2002. Mrs. Knapp was born March 25, 1925 in Ryde, CA.

She attended the Assembly of God Church Mojave for several years. Her 
favorite pastimes were crocheting, reading and singing. She had a chance 
to sing with the Oakland Philharmonic Choir but turned it down to marry 
her husband of 43 years, Edgar Lee Knapp, who preceded her in death in 1987.  
Mrs. Knapp was employed with Bank of America for 25 years.

She is survived by her children Dea Smith of Albuquerque N.M., Joan Bland 
of Deming N.M, Susan Callaway of Rio Vista, CA and Sandra Holley of California 
City. Mrs. Knapp leaves 11 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Also 
surviving Mrs. Knapp is her sister Neva Neves of Reno, NV.

Her favorite Bible scripture was Psalm 23.
