Local resident of only two months, Paul John Koch, 80, passed away at his Tehachapi 
residence on November 18.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on December 11, 1917, Mr. Koch was married to Lois Wells in 
Santa Ana in 1938. He was self-employed in the aircraft industry as an airplane mechanic for a 
period of 25 years. He retired in 1972 and lived in the Big Bear area before moving recently 
to Tehachapi.
Mr. Koch is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois Koch of Tehachapi; daughter, Nancy 
Jean Coke of Porterville; son, John Paul Koch of Sweden; four grandchildren; and 12 great-
grandchildren.
Wood Family Funeral Service handled the cremation arrangements.
