Source Unknown; Date Unknown A graveside funeral service was held Monday, November 23 at the Tehachapi Public Ceme- tery - Eastside for Nick Dee Madden, 43, who passed away at his home in Tehachapi on November 18, Nick and his twin brother, Rick, were born in Norman, Oklahoma on January 16, 1955. During his school years he liked all sports and graduated from Tehachapi High School. Nick served in the Army during 1975 and 1976. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator with the U.S. Borax Company for the last 21 years. His family affectionately referred to Nick as a "work-aholick." However, he did enjoy playing Keno, being outdoors and liked fishing. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church. Nick is survived by his parents, Lee and Ruby Madden of Tehachapi; twin, Rick Lee Madden and brother, Stephen Madden, both of Tehachapi, brother, Mark Anthony Madden of Lincoln City, Oregon; nieces Brandi Madden of Tehachapi and Jamie Madden of Los Angeles; grandmother, Ruth Smith of Tehachapi; and aunts, Joyce and husband, Tom Peck and Lois and husband, Charlie Brown, all of Tehachapi.
