Source Unknown; Date Unknown MALTBY, FRANK Gravesite Rites Set Graveside services for Frank Maltby, 72-year old member of a pioneer Woody family killed in an auto accident near Gallup, N.M., Wednesday, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Woody Cemetery. Mr. Maltby born in woody, October 2, 1893, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don O. Maltby, themselves natives and pioneers of the Woody area. He and his widow, the former Helen R. Rutledge, were married August 12, 1915 and have lived in Woody to the present. Besides Mrs. Maltby, he is survived by three sons, Donald F. and Gerald r. of Bakersfield and Barney of Bynum, Mont; a daughter, Mrs. Hester I. Hickenlooper of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and five sisters, Ann Crawford of Turlock, Berta L. Phillips of Famoso, Agnes C, smith of Bakersfield, Donna O. Ames of Redding and Mrs. James Beitchertt of Placerville. He was the grandfather of 13 and the great-grandfather of nine. In addition he is survived by many nieces and nephews. Note: Barney's birth name is Rob Roy.
