Beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend
Jennifer Jo Martinez, 25, a longtime resident of California City, California, 
passed away after she was involved in a vehicle accident on November 2, 2002, 
at Sand Canyon Road and Highway 58 in Tehachapi, California. 
She was born on October 25, 1977 in Tehachapi to Joe Martinez and Sandy Nowka. 
Jennifer was a sergeant at California City Correctional Center in California City. 
She is survived by her parents;  her son, Glenn W. Metzger III of California City; 
sister Ginger Cole of Texas; brother Jason Martinez of Texas; grandmother Joan Nowka 
of Montana; step-father John Peters of Tehachapi; many nieces, nephews, aunts, 
uncles and cousins from Montana, Texas and San Diego, California.
Memorial services will be held November 8, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Community Church, 
located at 21001 Conklin Blvd., in California City. 
Internment will be private.
