California City, California resident, Joyce M. Mayka, passed 
away on September 11, 2002 in Lancaster, California. She was 
born on October 24, 1934 in Illinois.
Survivors include her husband Ronald Mayka of California City; 
daughters, Teresa Lucero, Christine Pope, Jackie Mayka; sons 
Edward Mayka, Michael Joseph Mayka and nine grandchildren.
Services were held by Pastor Phil Owens on September 13 at the 
Assembly of God Church.
