Martha was born January 11, 1919 in Holland, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time doing needlecraft, crocheting fishing or taking long walks with her dogs. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Melvin (Carol) Mclntosh of Cal City; daughter-in-law Jana Mclntosh of Redding, CA; grandchildren Cyndi Wood of Tehachapi; Todd Mclntosh of Cal City; Rhonda Hopfenspirger of Arvada, CO; and Mark Mclntosh of Nevada; brother Jim Hicks of St. Johns, AZ; sisters Judy Dorris of Blythsville, AK; and Johnnie Hawkins of Marino Valley, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970 and son Larry Mclntosh in 1995. Funeral services were held on November 17 at the Wood Family Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Bruce E. Ferry officiated. Interment followed at the Tehachapi Public Cemetery, Eastside. Arrangements by Wood Family Funeral Service. Tehachapi News; 1998 Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 17 at the Wood Family Funeral Service Chapel for Martha Helen Mclntosh, 79, who passed away in California City on November 13. Martha was born January 11, 1919 in Holland, Missouri to Harvey and Celesta Savage. In 1947 she and her husband, Marshall, moved to Tehachapi. After his death in 1970, she spent several years in Colorado, only recently returning to the California City-Tehachapi area. Martha enjoyed spending her time doing needlepoint, crochet-i ing, fishing or taking long' walks with her dogs.
