Services are Conducted for Mojave Man
Services for Joe Nowlin, 34, of 203 East Seventh street, Bakersfield, but late of Mojave, who 
died late Saturday were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Payne & Sons chapel, with burial in 
Greenlawn cemetery. A native of _eilville, Ark., Mr. Nowlin had lived in Mojave five years 
during which time he was employed by a mining company there.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vonnie Nowlin, and his daughter, Billie Jo, both of Mojave 
and two sisters in the east. Death was due to tuberculosis.
