Source Unknown; 22 Dec 1938 Funeral services. for Harry O'Brien 58 years old who passed away after a short illness of pneumonia at the Rand hospisal were held in Los Angeles with interment in Calvary cemetery. Mr. O'Brien had resided at PCB for many years, having been employed there and at the Western the past fourteen years. He was born in Boston and came to California in 1906. He had mined in Tonapah, Goldfield and the Randsburg Districts prior to his association with PCB. Two sisters and a brother in Los Angeles survive. Friends from the mine who attended the funeral were the Bert McCormicks, Mrs. L. W. Barnes and the L. M. Griffins and sons.
