Mary Ann O'Brien, a 10-year resident of California City, passed away Sunday, February 4, 
2001 at Lancaster Community Hospital.
Mary was born August 21, 1950 in Garden City, "Kansas. She also resided in Caldwell, Idaho 
and Stateline, Oregon. She was a high school graduate, a loving mother and grandmother.
She leaves to mourn her husband of 30 years, Robert J. O'Brien, one daughter, Melany A. 
O'Brien, one son-in-law, Johnny Gardner, one grandson, Kyle A. O'Brien, all of California City, 
CA; and her mother, Rosa Woodland of Caldwell, Idaho. Mary's father, Herbert Woodland, 
preceded her in death.
Mary was much-loved and will be sorely missed.
Services were held February 8, 2001 at 10 a.m. at Stickel Mortuary in Mojave; CA. Donations to 
the family are suggested in lieu of flowers.
