All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. Source Unknown; Date Unknown Born September 21, 1934, she fell asleep in Jesus' arms August 22, 2003. She was born in Signal Hill, California to James Henry Miller and Martha Anderson Miller. She spent her childhood in Banning, California, graduated from Long Beach City College with an A.A. degree in Business and Secretarial training in Palm Springs, California. She also learned to play steel guitar at the California Musical Institute in Banning where she and her sister Beverly Miller performed many musical presentations. Martha was also a wonderful artist, an enchanting piano player, and was actively involved in her church all her life. On June 26, 1965, she married Bernard Joseph O'Hara. They had 3 lovely children, William, Kathleen and Eileen. For the last 3 1/2 years of her life, she lived in California City where she enjoyed the wide open spaces of the desert. She found pleasure in spending time with her friends and in reading the bible. She was known for her optimism and her gentle loving attitude toward others. Martha is survived by her husband Bernard O'Hara, her children, William Edward, Kathleen Elizabeth, and Eileen Ann, her brother Howard Miller and her sister Beverly Kindelt. We were truly blessed to have known Martha O'Hara and we look forward to seeing her when Jesus returns. Martha died in expectation of the resurrection. There will be a memorial service for her at the Mojave Seventh Day Adventist Church on 3020 Pat Avenue, Mojave, California, on August 30, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. NOTE: Photo At: http://www.calarchives4u.com/photos/kern/
