Betty L. Ortiz was born: November 11, 1930 in Harrisburg, Illinois. She passed away July 8, 
1998 in Lancaster, California. Betty was a resident of North Edwards for 15 years. 
She is survived by her children, Billy Martin of Illinois, Gregory Martin of California, Joe 
Ortiz of North Edwards, Yolanda Harrington of Boron, Lee Ortiz of Oklahoma, Connie Ortiz 
of Oklahoma, Yvonne Lawson of Mojave, Shane Ortiz of Boron and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Monday, July 13, 1998 at New Life Assembly of God Church in 
California City and interment followed at California City Memorial Park.
